Throughout the evening, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to power cuts in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.
Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and encountered interruptions to water systems, per reports from city officials.
Meanwhile, a minor was lost their life in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to local officials.
Moscow has increased assaults on energy facilities over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.
"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, European nations and the G7 - in supplying protection systems and enforcing sanctions," was stated in a public message.
Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets targeted energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as winter approaches.
The energy minister said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were working to repair systems.
A barrage of missiles damaged electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.
Five out of the nine people hurt in the strikes on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.
Local officials said the city endured intense attacks during nighttime hours. A young boy died and several individuals were hurt.
The strikes come after nights of aerial attacks in the region, sections of which are occupied by invading troops.
